A recording artist since 2013,
Ebro has released three EPs in the past seven years.

Being an Egyptian-American with time spent in both countries growing up lends him a unique perspective on pop music which he uses to craft truly individual songs, even when the songs are about well-trod material. Influences from Motown divas to Arabic stars and 80s pop idols can be heard throughout his library of recorded music, which ranges from high-energy club tracks to soulful ballads. His music has become more refined with each release, and in 2020 Ebro is hitting his stride with a style he has found and made his own.

Ebro’s songs feature themes of being lonely, unrequited love, longing, and facing reality, as well as happier themes of falling in love, science fiction, and everyone’s need to dance. His live performances are displays of charisma, personality, and raw talent, both as a singer and in general as an entertainer; Ebro knows how to keep a crowd engaged and dancing.

As someone who is dedicated to his art, he is always training to improve, and to this end he is enrolled in continuing voice coaching from a renowned Albany vocal instructor, Mimi O’Neill. His vocal range exceeds three octaves and with training his range just keeps getting larger.

Ebro has been booked many times in dozens of venues in the Hudson valley, the Berkshires, New York City, and all over the rest of New York and Massachusetts. He has performed at Berkshire pride, numerous comic and/or sci-fi conventions, clubs and bars, and at virtually every major festival within 100 miles. He has hosted events in many of the same places, running contests at clubs and conventions, doing comedy to eat up time between other performers, and running raffles and giveaways. He’s good behind the scenes as well, and possesses the ability to keep everything organized and running on time even when he has to perform.

You can stream his music on Soundcloud, iTunes, and Spotify.
